- 1st step
Coconut milk, canned – 400g / 2 cups
Baking cocoa – 50g / 1/4 CUP
Syrups, maple – 100g / 1/2 cup
Vanilla extract – 4g / 2 tsp
Salt, table – 1g / 1/2 tsp, or to taste
- 2nd step
Coconut milk, canned – 200g / 1 cups
Millet flour – 60g / 1/2 cup
Directions
- In a small saucepan, combine everything except approximately 1/2 cup coconut milk. Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt to the pan. Whisk everything combined, then reduce the heat to medium and whisk periodically.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the remaining 1/2 cup coconut milk and the Millet flour until smooth. Then add to the mixture on the stove
- As the mixture on the stove heats up, whisk it more often to prevent it from burning or clumping together on the bottom.
- Allow it cool to room temperature, stirring regularly to avoid forming a skin, before refrigerating in an airtight container.
