Paleo steak with shiitake mushrooms and broccoli!
Steaks with mushrooms and sauce are at the top of the list of protein-rich dishes. The simplest steak with pepper and salt may be the most satisfying, especially when served with a side of freshly roasted asparagus with shiitake mushrooms and a dash of thyme.

Beef round, bottom round, steak, lean and fat – 360g / 2 stakes
Mushrooms, shiitake – 220g / sliced
Asparagus (or Broccoli) – 180g / 1 Cup, chopped
Avocado oil – 14g / 1 tbsp
Thyme, fresh – 1g / 1 tsp
Salt, table – 1g / 1 pinch, or to taste
Spices, pepper, black – 1g / 1 pinch, or to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 220 Deg C or 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a bowl, combine the asparagus (or Broccoli) and shiitake mushrooms.
- Drizzle with avocado oil, thyme, and salt and pepper to taste.
- In a baking dish, place the shiitake mixture and roast for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Heat the grill to medium-high.
- Season the steaks evenly with black pepper and season to taste with salt.
- Grill the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, depending on how do you want them; set aside for 5 to 6 minutes to rest.
- Asparagus and shiitake mushrooms should be served alongside the steaks.
